Raymarine has announced the North American launch of its new e-Series and c-Series line of high performance, easy-to-use multifunction displays that are packed with powerful, cutting-edge features, including wireless streaming to IPhone and iPads.
Expanding on the award winning e7 multifunction display, the new e-Series and c-Series models provide boaters with a wider selection of screen sizes and control options. Both c-Series and e-Series displays offer all-in-one display navigation that includes GPS chartplotting and options for sonar, radar, and thermal night vision. Every c-Series and e-Series display is equipped with a powerful dual core processor, plus a third dedicated graphics processor, so boaters can enjoy rapid zooming, a responsive user interface and beautiful graphics. The all-new e-Series HybridTouch™ displays are available in a 9-inch and 12.1 inch versions, giving boaters a big screen experience in very small footprint. Like the e7, the new e-Series displays are available with or without a built-in ClearPulse digital sonar.
All of the e-Series displays feature Raymarine’s exclusive HybridTouch™ touch screen with the easy-to-use Lighthouse user interface. This combination offers an intuitive touch screen that is simple to control, yet incredibly flexible, allowing boaters the choice of touch screen or keypad operation. The Smartphone inspired Lighthouse user interface is very intuitive, and can easily be customized by simply dragging and dropping navigation apps into your preferred split screen configuration.
In addition to e-Series, Raymarine is launching the all new c-Series multifunction displays in both 9-inch and 12.1-inch versions. The c-Series displays offer boaters a remarkable combination of value and performance, with an easy-to-use keypad and rotary control for interacting with the simple LightHouse user interface. Like the HybridTouch™ e-Series, the keypad controlled c-Series are available with or without a built-in ClearPulse Digital sonar.
Both c-Series and e-Series offer extensive wired and wireless networking capabilities. Bluetooth networking supports the optional RCU-3 steering wheel remote control, and wireless control of Bluetooth compatible MP3 Players and Smartphones.
