Arrow Electronics, Inc. and Cree expanded their solid-state lighting solutions with the launch of a new Web site created to simplify designing with light-emitting diodes (LEDs). The new site is designed to help lighting engineers choose the right Cree LEDs and to quickly access detailed product information, design tools, training and other resources.
The online collaboration combines Cree’s expertise in lighting-class, architectural and general illumination designs, with Arrow’s solutions offerings, support and technical knowledge. The site features access to Cree’s new product characterization tool, launched this week, that enables users to compare up to three LED models simultaneously. Visitors can also use the online tool to calculate LED valuations such as lumens per dollar, estimate LED design parameters and make performance calculations.
“We partnered with Cree to provide our customers with the most up-to-date information and resources to simplify and accelerate the design process,” says Jim Seifert, VP of Marketing and Product Management for Arrow Electronics’ supplier services group. “The new Web site is designed to provide customers with quick and easy access to Cree’s range of high-performance products and solid-state lighting solutions and support.”
Visitors can also use Arrow’s expansive components parts search engine, place an order and access Cree product data sheets and customer support. Visit the new LED lighting Web site at www.arrownac.com/cree.
