Tzero Technologies is supplying ultra wideband (UWB) technology to Hitachi Ltd. for its Ultra Thin (UT) HDTV series. Tzero's advanced entertainment networking technology will eliminate cables and dramatically simplify the connections between the sleek new Hitachi displays and other home audio/video components.

With Tzero technology, Hitachi UT HDTVs will be able to receive high-definition video wirelessly from any HDMI equipped audio/video component. The wireless connection can deliver transmission speeds of up to 480 megabits per second (Mbps) to support even the most stringent demands of high-definition video and IPTV.
