AAMP Offers GPS VTS To 12-Volt Dealers

AAMP of America is now shipping its StreetEagle™ advanced GPS Vehicle Tracking Solution (VTS). The StreetEagle VTS delivers 24/7 real-time monitoring and protection with comprehensive driver status reports and critical safety and convenience features, and is being touted by AAMP as a significant new sales channel for dealers.

The StreetEagle includes a tracking unit, power cable and GPS antenna. Hands-free vehicle status and location updates automatically report a vehicle’s location at intervals up to two minutes, and users can choose from three levels of service—Basic, Standard and Advanced—eliminating hidden fees and a la carte menus that charge for each additional feature.

The unit is also of interest to business owners and even parents looking for state-of-the-art reporting tools to provide complete vehicle location and activity histories. The reports chart exact speed, routes and parking time, and the units can be configured to send instant email or text-message alerts whenever their child’s vehicle moves at unauthorized times or exceeds certain speeds. These alerts also warn parents when the vehicle alarm has been triggered or the vehicle enters and leaves a preconfigured area. Doors can also be locked and unlocked remotely, and ignitions immobilized to prevent theft.
